Delivering simplified network management
AEP Networks design, manufacture and implement a portfolio of products that will deliver simplified management of your network infrastructure. These include:
- Ultra Encrypt IPSec VPN - an independently assured encryptor that protects IP traffic across networks. It provides both data confidentiality and source authentication for network traffic enabling high confidence VPN communications.
- Ultra Protect Secure Application Access - available as hardware or virtual appliance, this enables secure, Web browser access to a broad range of business applications.
- Ultra Communicate Multi-purpose platform - a "mid range" rack-mount chassis based platform that provides a robust, reliable and highly supportable solution to the demand for multi-service communications and vastly increased bandwidth efficiency. Enabling effective communication between sites in an enterprise network using a single telecommunications platform that aggregates and transmit two-way voice/data over almost any bearer (radio, satellite or terrestrial). AEP Networks MegaWATCH is an SNMP software-based network management application designed to allow administrators to monitor the complete network and gather useful information about the condition and status of any SNMP-compatible devices that have been deployed. Manage ACM - ACM continuously monitors traffic and transparently changes the routing to match the current connectivity, e.g. satellite, ISDN, GSM, PSTN, Lease Line. Manage ASR Auto Sky roaming - a fully transportable, scaleable solution, suitable for service providers, system integrators, or organisations that have a need to provide deployable voice and data communications. The solution delivers an end to end network management and configuration capability that greatly simplifies complex network topologies, able to blend disparate networks, such as Inmarsat, VSAT, Coastal Wireless and other network topologies into one service offering.
- Ultra Communicate Solutions FSP Field Service pack - originally designed and developed to support the exacting requirements of the UK Armed Forces when on worldwide deployment. However, this capability also works extremely well in business, government and enterprise organisations that have a need for a fast deployable and secure remote communications solution for day-to-day operations and in emergency situations where conventional communications are not available, or when it is uneconomical to supply fixed telecoms infrastructures.
- UltraCommunicate Auto Configurator Manager (ACM) was principally designed as configuration architecture to enable VSAT Service Providers to quickly and efficiently manage their satellite/terrestrial network connectivity issues in cases of modem failure. ACM continuously monitors traffic and transparently changes the routing to match the current connectivity, e.g. satellite, ISDN, GSM, PSTN, Lease Line. The cut-over requires little or no management or operator intervention and is initiated on the arrival of the first packet. ACM maintains service and IP addresses, with minimal or zero operator intervention.
- Ultra Communicate Auto Sky Roaming (ASR) provides seamless switching between different satellites/network connections, with little or no operator intervention. In operation, the solution continuously monitors traffic and transparently changes the routing to match the current connectivity e.g. Satellite, ISDN, PSTN, Wireless, Lease Lines. The cut over requires little or no management or operator intervention and is initiated on the arrival of the first data packet. The solution can provide an automated satellite roaming capability for the maritime sector, dramatically increasing the operational functionality of overlapping network footprints. For example, the seamless switch or blending between FleetBroadband and VSAT, the ASR solution auto detects the shift to the new satellite and initiates the voice and data traffic re-routing within the central site hub (earth station).· ASR initiates the change on the arrival of the first packet from the new location and operates completely automatically without the need for operator intervention.
