Peter van de Geest

Managing Director

Peter has held a number of senior positions in the ICT industry over the past 15 years. As CEO of Vados Systems he was part of the team that led the MBO from Datatec Ltd in 2005. At Datatec he was Director of e-business solutions in the UK and prior to that was Managing Director of Logical Network Solutions in South Africa as well as being a director of Destiny Electronic Commerce, Datatec Open Information Technologies and PWNet (the security practice joint venture between PWC and UUNet). Before that Peter was co-founder and later managing director of VWV Interactive, a pioneer in internet integration in the early 90’s. Peter holds a post graduate degree in the arts.

For the past 8 years, prior to joining AEP Networks, Mark has provided consultancy services to large multi-national companies, including· Alcatel Enterprise, Vodafone Group, British Telecom and IBM, delivering fresh market led initiatives, advising on strategy, development of clear company go to market opportunities and also acting as a trusted advisor to partners and customers. Having also been Director of Technology with Logical UK, developing their Technical, Solutions, Business Strategy and Professional Services, Mark brings a wealth of experience in developing market led business transformation initiatives and delivering tangible benefits·

Mark Long

Finance Director

Mark joined AEP Networks from Audiosoft where he held the position of Finance Director following the acquisition by Ultra Electronics. Audiosoft specialised in data recording and analysis solutions for aerospace, defence and criminal justice markets worldwide. Prior to joining Audiosoft, Mark was Finance Director at Nomix Enviro where he played an integral part in business turnaround, business restructuring and the management buy-out and trade sale of its agro-chemical business to Frontier Agriculture Ltd. Previously Mark held senior finance roles within Transtec plc, Fisons plc and Gandalf Digital Communications. Mark is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA(hons) in Business Studies.
